Our cancellation Policy

To confirm a tour with us, we ask for a first deposit of 100 $ per person in our bank account.

Up to two weeks before the trip starts, we can refund you the complete sum that you already paid (minus wire transfer and currency exchange fees)

We then ask you to complete the tour payment at least 2 weeks before the trip starts.

Canceling your tour reservation 2 weeks before the start:

Canceling less than 2 weeks before departure: the customer is charged a service fee of 95% of the total order value.

(NB: please understand that the high season in Bolivia is relatively short (3 months). We guarantee to find competent IFMGA certified mountain guides, cooks, drivers, porters, and muleteers for your tour. This is only possible because we take care of the personal relationships we share with our staff. It is not an option for us to book several days of a short season for these persons, to then cancel it last minute, and leave them without a salary or time to find another job opportunity.

In case you have travel or health insurance, we will do our best to provide an invoice and other needed documents, to pass on to your insurance.)
